When working with me, I will use the One Concept Method. This means that a lot of the creative control will be with me. During the design process, I will come up with one, fully established brand design that is presented along with a full logo suite, color palette, typography, etc. This is done only after hours of research and collaboration between us so that I can ensure that we are on the same track.

This method is effective because branding is more than just one primary logo. It involves an entire logo suite, color, mood, and tone. Presenting many concepts doesn’t allow these other factors to be taken into account.

Also, clients aren’t forced to choose between multiple concepts, but rather are guided by the designer. It also minimizes the amount of unnecessary work that is done by creating 3 or 4 completely different concepts.

Having only one concept means that I, the designer, am able to fully communicate and articulate my thought process, allowing for better and more refined designs.

THE PROCESS //

  • ON-BOARDING

    You’re booked in! Now it’s time to fill out the more in-depth questionnaire, pay the upfront payment of 50%, and sign the contract.

  • STRATEGY

    After a video/live chat and strategy session together, I will put together a brand strategy and creative direction presentation for you to review.

  • PRESENTATION

    Once the creative direction has been approved I will start working on the brand identity and a brand presentation will be sent over to you.

  • TOUCHPOINTS

    Once we have agreed on the brand identity and you are happy, we can get onto stage two of designing the touch points within your package.

  • OFF-BOARDING

    That’s everything done! It’s now time to package all the files up and get them sent across to you.

 

BRAND PACKAGE 01 //

This package is the perfect starter pack for any new brand. It consists of all the necessary components of a brand, including an entire logo suite, colour palette, typography, and photography direction. The Brand Guideline perfectly packages the visual identity, making it easy and clear for anyone to consistently use the branding for any purpose.

 
  • In one of our first conversations, we will discuss your brand as a business and the effective strategies that may come into play within the visual identity of the company.

  • After our conversation on brand strategy, I will research your industry and your competitors and create an in-depth presentation highlighting the effective strategies for your brand.

  • This is a vital step that ensures that I, the designer, and you, the client, are on the same page when it comes to the creative direction of the brand. It also serves as a stepping stone into the design process with a clear objective.

  • Every brand needs a color palette that is both reflective of the company’s values and also helps with its recognizability.

  • In order to create a visually cohesive brand, the typography also must be strategically selected and used within various visual applications.

  • This is the main logo of the brand. It is the ‘complete’ logo - usually the most complex and contains the most information.

  • The logo variations are the different logos that may be used in the various assets and applications of the brand. For the example, the logo on a website header may be in a different layout from the logo on a physical product.

  • Since the visual identity of a brand often relies on photography alongside the logos and design, it is important that there is a cohesive and consistent look to the images used. I will offer advice and examples, as well as provide stock imagery that may be used within your brand.

  • To wrap up the entire package, I will provide brand guidelines which sum up everything within the brand’s visual identity. This includes instructions on the Do’s and Don’ts of the business when using the logos, colors, fonts, etc.

 
 

BRAND PACKAGE 02 //

With all the same features as Brand Package 01, this package also consists of elements that add substance to the branding. This includes print elements like packaging and stationery, as well as elements that would assist in the online identity of the company like social media tem- plates and web design.

The price may vary depending on the number and complexity of brand assets like stationery and packaging.

 
 
  • This package comes with the entirety of the starter package: Brand Package 01.

  • If it is applicable to your brand, I will create packaging designs which will be consistent with the branding that we create together.

  • All brands should have some sort of stationery, this includes things like business cards, letterheads, envelopes, among other things.

  • If your brand is one that utilizes social media, it is important that the visuals online are consistent with what the brand’s mission is. For this reason, I will create social media templates that can be easily edited and manipulated for things like instagram or Facebook.

  • Most companies should have an attractive website that fits with their brand identity and appears to be trustworthy. I can design websites using Squarespace or Shopify, but can expand depending on your preferences.

  • If there are any other assets or applications that your brand requires that are not mentioned above, that can also be discussed!
